An extensive range of face to face courses and other learning and development opportunities are offered throughout the year and provide an excellent
opportunity to enhance your safeguarding skills/knowledge base in a multi-agency environment. Our training also enables employers to meet their legal and
workforce development responsibilities for safeguarding children.
Included are some specially commissioned courses which are running in response to the identified safeguarding learning and development needs of the Children's Workforce for Bedford Borough, Central Bedfordshire and Luton. All of our courses are very well received by workers from all agencies.
Large numbers of professionals attend our courses - from the statutory, voluntary and private sector who work primarily with children or young people or who work directly with adults where there are children or young people within the family. By working together effectively better outcomes for children and young people can be achieved.
In order to ensure that you are able to make the most of an interactive multi agency training environment, some of our courses require prior online e-Learning as an entry requirement and this will be incorporated into the course cost as indicated and a link provided on the application form for the course.
BBSCB, CBSCB & LSCB also offer online e-Learning courses for other workers not requiring face to face training and these online courses can be applied for directly via the BBSCB, CBSCB & LSCB e-learning link http://bedfordshirelscb.safeguardingchildrenea.co.uk
Login or register and request your chosen course.
Partner agencies in Bedford Borough, Central Bedfordshire and Luton will receive these e-Learning courses free of charge.
