LC2 LEADERSHIP SKILLS TRAINING PROGRAMME 2019-2020 (Cancelled)
This well-established cross-phase programme is designed for middle leaders aspiring to senior leadership and looking to develop their professional skills and confidence. Each of the seven sessions will be dynamic and interactive, providing many opportunities for discussion, debate and personalised learning.
A key element of the programme will be completion of an action research project. Each delegate will identify, implement and follow up on a strategic project relevant to their school, which will form part of their school development plan.

Youth Mental Health First Aid - 2 day programme
Facilitator: Kate Houghton
This is an internationally recognised course designed specifically for those people that teach, work, live with or care for young people aged 8 to 18 years.
You will gain an in depth understanding of specific mental health issues. The course is delivered in four manageable chunks:
- What is mental health? - Depression and anxiety - Suicide and psychosis - Self harm and eating disorders
It focuses on the issues faced by young people today, such as cyber bullying and substance misuse, and teaches how to promote protective factors and good parenting.

aptGO is an Audit and Planning tool for working at Ofsted judgements Good and Outstanding. It is suitable for both primary and secondary mainstream schools and there is also a version available for special schools or specialist provision. The course costs £100 per participant.
